AHBA Academic Scholarship

Supporting students and agricultural families pursuing higher education at community colleges, four-year colleges, and universities.

Applications are accepted between March 1 – 31

Who Is Eligible?

Academic scholarships are available for:

  • Aspiring students who are not yet enrolled

  • Current full- or part-time students attending:

    • Community colleges

    • Four-year colleges or universities in the U.S.

  • Undergraduate or graduate students pursuing:

    • Associate’s

    • Bachelor’s

    • Graduate or higher degrees

Scholarship Details

Multiple scholarships awarded, up to $5,000 each

  1. Funds may be used for:

    • Tuition and school fees

    • Books and school supplies

    • Room and board

  2. Scholarships are typically awarded for a one-year period

  3. Past applicants and past recipients may reapply

  4. Applicants may receive up to two AHBA scholarship awards

How Recipients Are Selected

A selection committee evaluates applicants based on:

  • Personal background, educational history, and life experiences

  • Motivation, character, ability, and future potential

  • Academic performance (if applicable)

  • Recent personal and professional letters of recommendation

Incomplete applications will not be considered.
